with Luz A. Feldmann MD, Limited

ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, IL, January 20, 2020, Dr. Luz Feldmann has been included in Marquis Who’s Who. As in all Marquis Who’s Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

An acclaimed physician with many years of experience under her belt, Dr. Feldmann excels as the president and the owner of the eponymous Luz A. Feldmann MD, Limited, where she has specialized in anesthesiology and pain management since 2005. Previously, she gained valuable expertise as an anesthesiologist and a pain management physician in Chicago from 1998 until 2005. During the mid-1990s, Dr. Feldmann parlayed her knowledge of the field to students at Indiana University as an assistant professor of anesthesiology and pain management.

Earlier in her career, Dr. Feldmann worked as a family practice physician between 1988 and 1990 after completing residencies through Saint Elizabeth’s Hospital and Cook County Hospital. In a career filled with highlights, she is especially proud of successfully operating her medical practice; as a minority, woman and solo practitioner, she is honored to be thriving in the male-dominated industry. In pursuit of her medical dreams, Dr. Feldmann obtained a Doctor of Medicine from Universidad Nacional de Colombia in 1986 and completed a residency in anesthesiology from the University of Indiana in 1993.

Dr. Feldmann retains her professional alignment with numerous organizations, including the American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians, the Institute of Functional Medicine, the American Society of Anesthesiology and the American Society of Regional Anesthesia. Looking toward the future, she sees herself practicing more functional medicine rather than her current specialty of pain medicine. Additionally, Dr. Feldmann aims to continue aiding patients that want her help.
